Volkswagen Golf Starter Motors – GOLF V 2.0 GTI

Over the last two years I have purchased two starter motors and one alternator as after market replacement for Volvo Penta items. Not only have these items been top notch, they were very reasoanbly priced and above all, the service recieved from The Starter and Alternator Company was nothing short of excellent. They were always willing to discuss and assist in fault diagnosis when required and ensured a swift delivery when replacements were needed. My last purchase was odered Friday afternoon and it arrived Saturday am. The boat all serviceable by 3pm! Thank you

Amazing service from start to finish. The chap took the time to speak to me and asked me to send pics of the old Yanmar alternator. He then recommended a new one and sent it next day delivery. VERY VERY HAPPY!!!!! You don't seem to get customer service like this any more but these guys are great!!!!!!!!

Called Starter Motor and Alternator co when the alternator died on my Audi A1. They were very helpful on the phone telling where to look for the model number in order to order the correct model. Ordered online and it was delivered 2 days later. Once fitted I returned the old one on a service exchange deal and had the deposit quickly returned to my account. Better still it was less than half pice I was quoted by three auto factors. Well done on great service.

Excellent service, prompt delivery

Very prompt service and good advice given on the starter motor as the replacement is about 90 degrees out . All this was explained . The motor has proven to be very good with it starting even in the coldest months . It seems to spin up at a greater speed then the original unit I had ( which I had refurbished ) . Would certain recommend the company .

Needed a Yanmar replacement Alternator, wasn't in stock but they told me when they would receive them, so I rang them the day after the expected date and they had.just got the delivery, placed order and delivered next day, fitted a week later and working perfectly! Thanks for a great service.

Totally happy with the service I received. I found it very easy to locate the correct alternator for my car. I fitted the new alternator (worked perfectly), boxed the old one and posted back for retun deposit. Job done! If only everything in life was as simple.
